The Federal Tax Service began to request information from Russians about their real estate transactions in the United Arab Emirates - RBC lawyers and tax consultants reported this for publication. According to them, the Federal Tax Service (FTS) has data on objects, sales amounts and participants in transactions and checks whether income is declared and taxes are paid in Russia. Several dozen such requests are known, mainly for transactions in the years 2023-2024 in Dubai. The Federal Tax Service has data on sale dates, addresses, property area and transaction amounts. How exactly this information was obtained is unknown. The service itself stated that it systematically supervises the payment of taxes on foreign income. However, there is no automatic exchange of data on income from the use and sale of real estate between Russia and the UAE.
