The Kremlin announced its willingness to resume the tripartite negotiations after November 4. Putin's aide, Yuri Ushkov, stated this in an interview with Pavel Zarubin for Vesti. He added that "you won't decide much during the first meeting; it will probably be of a preliminary nature." According to Ushakov, Moscow was ready to return to negotiations after the State Duma elections, but as Putin's aide says, the Ukrainian side thwarted this agreement. Now the next date is November 4, our big holiday. After that we will be ready to resume negotiations, - said Ushakov about the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine mediated by the United States. He also stated that the organization and preparation for the future summit of Putin, Trump and Xi Jinping has already begun. Earlier, Peskov named Abu Dhabi as a possible place for trilateral negotiations between Russia, Ukraine and the United States.
