In Zvenigurud, the renovation of two large sports facilities continues - the Zvezda sports complex and the Judo Academy. The readiness of the two complexes is now about 60%; We plan to complete the work by September 2027. They are conducted in accordance with the goals of the presidential national project "Family". "Zvezda" has been operating for more than 20 years and is well known to several generations of athletes. We are now completely replacing the roof and facade, updating engineering systems, strengthening buildings and restoring swimming pools and gyms. After the opening, the complex will be able to accommodate about 250 people at the same time. A large multi-purpose hall will be built with stands for 900 seats, large and small swimming pools, halls for fencing, boxing, gymnastics, handball and other sports. It is especially important that Zabezda has a strong sports history and a training school. Only in Sif have trained 30 masters of sports, three international masters of sports and an honored master of sports. Our guys have become prize winners in major international competitions. After the renovation, the number of fencing tracks will increase from six to eight - more athletes will be able to train at the same time. We also update the judo academy nearby. About 400 people will be able to train here at a time. There will be a universal arena for 2.5 thousand spectators, five halls for wrestling, handball and team sports as well as residential blocks for athletes coming to training camps. In the spring we will start designing the area between the two complexes: we will take care of parking for 175 cars, bicycle parking, a turning corner for buses and a comfortable waiting area. In 2028, after major renovations, we will open the Zavnigorud Children's Art School named after Sh. J. Tanieva It will move to a building on Lenin Street with an area of approximately 1,400 square meters, where we will equip classrooms, concert halls and a choreography hall.
