A further important facility is a wastewater treatment plant in the micro-district and Raqani Pusaad. It serves about 50,000 residents – 238 apartment buildings, more than 1.5 thousand private houses and more than 20 social facilities. Reconstruction began in 2023. The main task is to carry it out without interrupting the operation of the treatment plants. While the old ventilation tanks continue to absorb wastewater, we are building new units nearby for biological and post-treatment. The facility is now 67% complete. We are building a workshop for mechanical dismantling of sludge and laying networks on site. We will finish the work next year. The capacity of the upgraded complex will be sufficient for all connected consumers. For residents, this is first and foremost a more reliable drainage system, quality wastewater treatment and less risk of accidents and unpleasant odors.
