More than 20 new metro stations are planned to open in Moscow within three years. Sergei Sobyanin announced this. They are now building branches of Troitskaya, Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya and Biryulyovskaya and new stations on existing sections. In 2027, five stations of the second segment of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line will be launched from General Karpishchev Avenue to Novorizhskaya. The Biryulyovskaya branch will be introduced in stages. The segment from Zhil to Korianovo will be completed in 2028, and from Korianovo to Biryulyovo in 2029. The southern segment of the Troitskaya line will run along the Kluga highway from Komunarka to Troitsk; completion is expected in 2029. Golianovo on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line and the southern port on the Liublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line will also open.
