Christian Bale's Batman motorcycle was put up for auction in London for $1.2 million (about 99 million rubles).
A total of six such motorcycles were developed for the filming of The Dark Knight. But only this copy was officially approved by Warner Bros. to be sold. By the way, the Batpod is not an ordinary motorcycle. It has a 750cc Honda engine and huge 31 inch wheels. The head of the auction house, Steven Lane, admits: the motorcycle is impressive, but very uncomfortable to handle. Even sitting on it is not easy, and it was especially difficult for the stuntmen during the filming. They repeatedly collided with the obstacles on it and even flew into the cameras.
Info for those with money: The online auction started on Thursday and ends on December 4 in London. Along with the motorcycle, they sell Batman costumes, an Indiana Jones hat and a Jon Snow sword.
