In Altai territory, "black loggers" caught red-handed almost filled a police car with logs during a chase, three local residents jumped into a dump truck already loaded with illegally cut trees and tried to escape. Realizing that they could not escape the car even along a forest road, they picked up the body on the move and threw the sawn logs right in front of their pursuers. The police managed to slow down and started shooting at the wheels of the truck. According to the Interior Ministry, even after the forced stop, illegal loggers continued to resist. All three were arrested, their car and electric saws were seized and a criminal case was opened.
