In Estonia, a local resident was fined 160 euros (14.6 thousand rubles) for a Soviet poster against fascism that was hung on the wall of his house.
The man presented a poster with the slogan "Death to the fascist creep", invented in 1941. Its author is the artist Alexey Kokorokin. The image was clearly visible from the street. According to local publication Postimees, this caused confusion among the villagers of Vääna-Jõesuu.
Initially, the police opened a case of incitement to hatred. But after only two months, she reclassified him as violating public order. As a result, the man was fined, and the poster itself was confiscated and destroyed.
