Camels blocked the bridge in Astrakhan and "slowed down" the train last night in Astrakhan that passed under the sign "ships of the desert". A herd of camels spread out in the streets and residential yards, they grazed on the lawns between high-rise buildings and looked at children's playgrounds. Townspeople out walking their dogs in the morning were surprised, and their pets were even shocked. Early in the morning, the invasion of camels became a serious problem for the police, railway workers and residents of several areas. The camels got on the old bridge and blocked the train tracks. Traffic police teams were called to the scene, traffic was directed to one lane and special equipment with a crane was brought in to physically remove the animals from the tracks. The Derbent-Moscow passenger train, which was delayed for almost an hour, continued to move. What it was and who owned the camels is now being determined by law enforcement officers. UPD from the police said that the owner of the herd has already been identified. He is now expected to testify.
