The list includes severe visual impairments (visual acuity below 0.2 in both eyes, achromatopsia), forms of epilepsy with a risk of loss of control, as well as mental disorders (schizophrenia, dementia due to Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, emotional and hallucinatory disorders, etc.). Both the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the driver themselves will be notified, after which they will have three months to be examined at an authorized clinic. A confirmed contraindication or failure to appear on time means the suspension of rights; you can restore them after a new conclusion on the absence of contraindications. The new rules, according to Kamnev, protect all road users.
