Medical staff and locals in the Democratic Republic of Congo's Ituri district dance and sing as they celebrate the release of the last remaining Ebola patients at a treatment center run by the charity Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in Mungbewalo.
According to MSF, this is the first time since May that there are no confirmed Ebola cases being treated at the center. The region continues to grapple with the Ebola epidemic as Africa's latest outbreak has passed 10,000 confirmed cases, the vast majority in the DRC, health authorities said on 27 October.
It is the deadliest outbreak of the disease in the DRC's history, with nearly half of those infected dying from the virus, according to the health ministry.
