A group of student protesters disrupted an artificial intelligence panel in Manhattan during New York Climate Week on Wednesday.

Activists disrupted NVIDIA's head of sustainability, Josh Parker, while he attended the event, according to footage shared by the Sunrise Movement.

"These corporations and data centers are responsible for the climate disaster!" A protester shouted while being removed by security. "You say you care about sustainability? You emitted 15 million tons of CO₂," said another protester.

In another clip, a protester referred to a $500 million investment deal with Tel Aviv, while another raised concerns that NVIDIA chips are being used by the IDF.

"Shame on New York Climate Week for inviting AI billionaires to sit on boards and greenwash the climate-destroying, genocide-enabling business model," she wrote in the Sunrise Movement at X. "Young people don't have it. All week, we've been chasing AI managers. They don't deserve a moment of peace."
