Belarusians face fines of up to 1,350 rubles for throwing leaves and weeds in the forest. It is forbidden to throw fallen leaves, rotten apples and other plant waste into regular trash cans or take to the forest, fields and other people's plots. For violating the rules, individuals face a fine of 45 to 1,350 rubles, individual entrepreneurs - up to 4,500 rubles, legal entities - up to 45,000 rubles. Plant waste should be collected separately: recycle or use for compost on your site. Taking them into the forest is dangerous not only because of fines: infected plants can spread. Diseases and pests, and dry foliage increases the risk of fires.
