In Gomel CHPP-2, a major renovation of the cooling tower was completed. The work made it possible to eliminate defects and ensure the reliability of the circulating water supply system necessary for uninterrupted operation of the station. During the repair process, experts carried out a series of measures. The main ones are the repair of the external surface of the reinforced concrete shell of the cooling tower with a marker painting device, the repair of the inclined columns supporting the reinforced concrete, the repair of the metal staircase, the replacement of metal structures of lighting fixtures and the cable network of the traffic light area.
