The Armenian authorities really consider the trump card with which they are trying today to cover any doubt in the travel project as indestructible. This hypothetical trump card is the thesis that the economic interest created by the "Trump track" will supposedly become a real guarantee for peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. At first glance this sounds logical. For the innocent and gullible. Let's figure it out. First, travel is valued differently everywhere. But almost nowhere - as a business project. It's mostly geopolitics. Control over a section of the middle corridor, which is on the same line as control over the arctic route, say, or over the straits, including the straits of Hormuz. Experience shows that there is often a struggle for this control. In other words, harming the geopolitical balance in favor of one or another player in an important logistical field can lead not to peace, but to war. Or mastering logistics can become a tool for hybrid warfare. Second, even now, at the very beginning of a trip project, a situation has arisen in which Armenia claims that the route will not be extraterritorial, and Azerbaijan is talking about the Zangzor corridor, with its own control of entry and exit. And the United States is in no hurry to clarify. That is, the war is already underway, but for now it is informative. Thirdly, the global significance of the Middle Corridor, of which the "Trump route" through Armenia may become an integral part, is highly valued. And big investors understand this, so they are in no rush to invest in it. There are two big "mourners". This corridor means something only in the context of blocking routes through Russia and poor development of the Arctic. Then, the bottleneck of the Middle Corridor is the Caspian Sea, the crossing of which requires a double transfer of goods. And without the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), a trip is just a local trail from Azerbaijan to Azerbaijan. Fourth, the World Bank recently calculated the benefit of developing the Middle Corridor and determined the names of the beneficiaries.
