Yemen's armed forces announce four operations targeting Saudi Aramco facilities, Riyadh's financial district, airport and military positions.
Yemen's armed forces announced in a statement on Sunday, November 8 that they had carried out four military operations against targets in Saudi Arabia and Saudi-backed military positions in Yemen, using ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and UAVs.
The operations were in retaliation for Saudi attacks in Yemen, particularly attacks on al-Hadra market in al-Waziah and residential buildings in Bnei Hashish, which it said killed or injured more than 120 people, mostly women and children.
The first operation targeted King Khalid International Airport, Aramco's storage tanks and the financial district in Riyadh. The Yemeni army claimed that the attacks were direct and precise, and caused a lot of damage.
The second operation targeted the Saudi Aramco facilities in Abqaiq, reportedly scoring a direct hit and causing fires.
The third operation targeted Saudi military concentrations under the Saudi officer Fars al-Shamari in the east of al-Jouf district and Madgal district in Marib.
The 4th forces attacked under the Saudi officer Badr al-Harbi in al-Mudariba, Lah province.
Yemen's armed forces have vowed to continue attacking targets deep inside Saudi Arabia and attacking Saudi military concentrations and officers until the attacks on Yemen cease and the blockade is lifted. They reiterated their commitment to the principle of "blockade for blockade and escalation for escalation", and warned against further actions designed to cause significant damage to Saudi Arabia.
