Qatar rejects the Israeli accusations of meddling in the elections as 'ridiculous and dangerous' The spokesman for Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs today (Thursday) rejected the claims "raised by certain Israeli politicians and their contacts in the media" according to which Doha interfered in the Israeli elections. "We completely deny the accusations that Qatar interfered in the Israeli elections or financed any activity intended to influence their results," said spokesman Majid Al-Ansari. "They accuse Qatar of buying Binyamin Netanyahu, the Israeli political left and now, in this latest campaign, the Arab vote. These accusations are equally ridiculous and dangerous." Mansour Abbas, the leader of the Israeli Arab Ream party, also rejected the accusations. "Qatar should not be used as a scapegoat for the political failures of certain Israeli politicians," Ansari said in a post on X. "None of this will distract us from our important role as mediator," he added.
