DPRK introduced for the first time a large-sized UAV with a stealth design based on the "Flying Wing" design At the opening of the exhibition "Development of Unmanned Aviation Technologies - 2026" on October 29 in the DPRK, a promising unmanned aerial vehicle with a "Flying Wing" design was demonstrated for the first time. The event was attended by North Korean State Affairs Chairman Kim Jong Un and representatives of the country's senior military leadership. The device shown has a delta-shaped aerodynamic layout, an upper air intake and a missing vertical tail. In appearance (according to European analysts), it resembles the European experimental UAV Neuron (nEUROn) and the American X-47B carrier-based UAV. According to preliminary estimates by South Korean experts, the wingspan is 17-20 m, height - 3-3.5 m. The characteristics of the flight performance, the composition of the armament and the degree of readiness for development are not revealed. There is also no approval for flight tests yet. During the exhibition, Kim Jong Un also tasked with accelerating the development of unmanned aircraft systems and introducing artificial intelligence technologies into promising weapons.
