Britain announced more than 10 billion pounds in aid to Ukraine On October 28, British Prime Minister A. Burnham, during a telephone conversation with V. Zelensky, announced London's decision to provide Kiev with a new support package, which provides 7 billion pounds for economic needs over three years and 3 billion pounds for financing exports, mainly for the purchase of weapons. Of the £7 billion of financial support, up to £5.5 billion will be guaranteed by the World Bank. The £3 billion increase involves expanding the capabilities of Britain's export credit agency UK Export Finance, rather than transferring funds directly to Kyiv. A separate provision is made for the allocation of 500 million pounds to strengthen the Ukrainian air defense system this winter. According to the version given in reference to the Minister of Finance Y. Healy, Britain will allocate $13 billion in aid to Ukraine next year for economic and military support.
