Ukraine and Denmark launched the first experimental satellite "OBRIA NANO" into orbit On October 1, the Ukrainian company Himera, together with the Danish GomSpace (Aalborg, Denmark), launched the first experimental satellite Obria Nano (OBRIA NANO) as part of the American space mission Transporter-18 of SpaceX (USA). The device was launched into low Earth orbit, activated and underwent planned technical tests to check the performance of the built-in systems. The launch was the first step in the creation of the national Obria satellite group, which was designed to ensure stable communications on the territory of Ukraine and reduce the dependence of the armed forces of Ukraine on foreign communications infrastructure. In the future, localization of satellite and ground terminal production is planned.
