Reconstruction of the Tavares River terminal continues. The original terminal was built in 1938 in the early Stalinist neoclassicism style. Over the past 15 years, it has deteriorated into an unsafe condition. In 2025, a decision was made to demolish the old buildings and restore the historical appearance of the terminals using new materials. It was rebuilt a little closer to the water to make room for the rebuilding of buildings belonging to the Utrich Monastery.
