Russia has already sent seven tankers to the United States as part of the diesel deal until the end of October 2026. At least seven tankers carrying Russian diesel are reported to be heading for the United States. This is the first large-scale shipment under the agreements reached by Trump and Putin earlier this month. It should be noted that the information came from Greenpeace Ukraine, defined as an "undesirable organization" in Russia, which tracked the vessel using MarineTraffic and Kepler data. Seven vessels were identified: Taurus, Amulet, Leroue, Ibla and Primoria. Together, they carry about 288,000 tons of diesel, equivalent to about 2.1 million barrels. Earlier media reports indicated just three ships, Kama, Leroue and Agioi Fanendes, carrying just over 920,000 barrels. Greenpeace monitoring detected four more tankers. Agioi Fanendes travels to New York, while Taurus travels to Beaumont, Texas. The other ships are reportedly crossing the Atlantic toward the United States, although specific destination ports have not been disclosed for some.
