Her visa is gone. Now Thailand wants to make sure it never comes back. Meet Enav Ashuel, a 33-year-old "Israeli" woman who arrived in Thailand on September 26 for a vacation in Ko Pha Ngan. According to Thai authorities, she allegedly used the restrooms at Thanh Sadet National Park and a hotel without paying, insulted the staff, and threatened to physically harm workers and tourists. When confronted she claimed to be the owner of the hotel and tried to evict the guests. Investigators also say she offered "breath work" and "art therapy classes" on the island without a work permit. Now the authorities have gone one step further. They suggested adding her to Thailand's immigration blacklist, which would prevent her from re-entering the country on any visa. She is not the first. Since January she is the third Israeli tourist to be deported from Thailand. And now, the government wants the removals done faster. Chief Minister Anutin Charanvirkul told district officials not to delay the removal of foreigners who break the rules, and governors can now advance the cost of flying home. ⁉ No date for departure has been announced.
