Iran is not only rebuilding, but also expanding its Nesher-44 underground air base, in Hormozgan, despite at least 3 attacks by the US and Israel. Satellite images show repaired taxiways, new construction and mostly intact tunnel entrances. Nesher-44 is located approximately 160 kilometers northwest of the Strait of Hormuz, deep within the Zagros Mountains. The US military war zone office says the complex will likely also store cruise missiles and ballistic missiles. Israel on Channel 12 says that an American official admitted that Iran's military recovery is progressing faster than expected.
