The consultations with the President of Israel regarding the candidate to form the new government have ended. According to the results, the leader of the opposition bloc Eisenkot was recommended by 67 deputies, and the current Prime Minister Netanyahu managed to get 46 votes. The members of the ultra-religious Shas party did not recommend any candidate. Judging by these data, Eisenkot becomes the likely representative that the head of state will entrust to form a new government.
