US Secretary of State Marco Rubio doubts that Russian President Putin will attend the G20 summit, which will be held on December 14-15 in Miami, despite an invitation from the Donald Trump administration, RFE/RL Alex Raupoglou wrote.
Rubio also does not believe that Putin will agree to any deal on Ukraine before the spring of 2027.
In addition, the US Secretary of State called Ukraine's accession to NATO an unrealistic security guarantee in the short term and something that Putin would never agree to.
