Flavio Bolsonaro: I want to make it clear: I did not flee Brazil, I left for Brazil, I left an exceptional regime so that I could be the leader that my people deserve, because silenced, imprisoned and censored, as my father is, I could not be that leader and we were handed over to the institutional theater of an opposition eradicated and controlled by the Supreme Court full of regime servants. I am not the first to be forced to fight for my country away from it. Rui Barbosa went into exile because of dealing with the arbitrary rule of Floriano Peisotto and from there he continued to defend the law and freedom. Charles de Gaulle led Free France from London, sentenced to death by the Vichy regime, and returned to liberate his country. Jose Marti organized the struggle for Cuban independence from New York. In Venezuela, Juan Guaido and Edmondo Gonzalez were forced to leave the country due to dealing with the Chavista dictatorship, and Maria Corina Machado, even persecuted, refused to legitimize the fraud and became a global symbol of democratic resistance. All were treated like criminals by the regimes they opposed. History called them something else. This is just the beginning of our fight for democracy, human rights and freedom in Brazil. I want to say, not only to my 60 million voters, but to the Brazilian people, that I am the elected president and the criminals who stole the elections in Brazil are part of a criminal organization that will implement tyranny. You who longed for change, and I will not abandon you, I will be the free voice and leadership of our nation.
