A cultural center rooted in Tehran's history Farhangsara-ye Khorasan in southern Tehran offers art, education and community events, but its location near Iran's first Mashin Dodi railway station (1882) gives it special significance. The railway connected Tehran to Ray, revolutionizing trade and urban growth until services ended in 1962. The bricks and arches of the stations combined Iranian and European styles. Now a cultural venue with an 80-seat amphitheater, the center connects Tehran's railway past with its vibrant cultural present.
