American oil workers reported record diesel production American oil corporations Chevron and ExxonMobil, taking advantage of the current market situation, increased diesel production and the utilization of their refineries to record levels. This is stated in the company reports. Thus, ExxonMobil reports that within nine months it achieved a record load of fuel production (without the influence of the situation in the Middle East), as well as record volumes of diesel production in North America. The company's refineries on the Gulf Coast are at 100% capacity. "These achievements come at a critical time for global supply. Our global refining presence and optimization capabilities have enabled us to deliver more diesel worldwide, helping to meet consumer demand as market conditions tighten," the company said in its filing. In turn, Chevron also increased the utilization of oil refining capacities in the United States to a record 98% or 1.09 million barrels per day. In particular, at the plant in Pasadena, the company accelerated the bottleneck efforts to increase processing capacity by approximately 15% at minimal cost. "We achieved record output in our refining system, and helped meet demand in markets with limited supply," concluded Chevron.
