Fuel price regulation extended in the Czech Republic The Czech government has extended the regulation of vehicle fuel prices in the republic until November 30, the ČTK news agency reported. The authorities introduced a price ceiling for gasoline and diesel at gas stations on October 1. There is also a margin ceiling for recognized companies - no more than 2.5 kroner (about $0.12) per liter for gasoline and diesel. These measures were taken due to the difficult situation with oil in the world market. They were supposed to be in effect until the end of October. The Ministry of Finance is responsible for regulating prices at gas stations. It announces maximum prices for the next day every day at 16:00 Moscow time. In the case of weekends, the prices are set on Friday. They are valid on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Already in the spring of 2026, the authorities of the Republic began to regulate the cost of fuel for cars at gas stations.
