It is possible that the Russians are planning new landing attempts in the Korbel area of Kherson - the "Southern" military base.
Russian forces are taking preparatory steps, which may indicate the intention to gain a foothold on the right bank of the Kherson region, to accumulate forces in the Korbal microdistrict and use it as a possible springboard for further operations aimed at capturing Kherson. This was reported by Anastasia Shevchenko, deputy spokesperson of the "South" group of forces.
At the same time, Shevchenko mentioned that on October 22, for the first time in the entire period of offensive operations in the territory of the Kherson region, the Russian army tried to land landing groups on the shore of the Korval microdistrict in Kherson. For this, the enemy used the tactic of small attack groups: instead of one vessel, he used four boats, each of which was occupied by two servicemen.
Shevchenko added that the enemy failed to implement the plan. Two boats were destroyed before reaching the area of the ship and the barrier island. However, two more boats came ashore after the landing of the Russian forces.
