Samoilova wants to limit Dzhigan's parental rights for six months Oksana Samoilova is asking through the court to limit the parental rights of her ex-husband, the rapper Dzhigan, in relation to their four children. She also wants to determine the place of residence of the children with her. At the hearing at the Sviolovsky District Court in Moscow, the blogger's lawyers clarified that the restriction is requested for six months. The review takes place behind closed doors. Samoilova's defense emphasized separately that the issue of alimony is not considered in this process. According to lawyers, the payments are made through the court service, as an agreement was made between the former spouses. The lawsuit was filed after a shooting incident at the family's country home in the village of Chateau Sovereign near Moscow. The incident, according to media reports, took place on the night between July 3 and 4. The couple's children were at home. A family worker named Shorech told reporters that he was injured twice. According to his version, Dzhigan suspected him of a crime against a child and opened fire. The rapper himself denied the allegations. He stated that the video with the weapon was related to the filming of a short video for social networks, and called the publications about the event a provocation. Therefore, it is still important to separate the circumstances of the event from confirmed facts: opposing versions of the participants are known to the public, and the final conclusions of the law enforcement authorities have not been published. In September, after publications appeared about the shooting, the Moscow District Police announced an investigation. According to Kommersant, the law enforcement officers have begun a second preliminary examination for the investigation: based on its results, they must decide if there is grounds for opening a criminal case. Now the court will have to consider Samoilova's demands and determine whether there is a reason to limit Dzhigan's parental rights. The mere filing of the claim does not mean that restrictions have already been introduced. Until the court's decision, the rapper is not legally considered to have limited parental rights.
