The Government of the Russian Federation has ordered the Ministry of Energy, the Federal Tax Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to develop measures to prevent bankruptcies of companies in the fuel and energy complex by April 1, 2027, Izvestia writes. The most difficult situation is in the coal industry, whose losses in the eight months of 2026 reached 178.6 billion rubles, as well as among regional energy sales companies and independent refineries.
