The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) announced that the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) has again lost external power. "The Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) has once again lost all off-site power, forcing it to rely on emergency diesel generators for reactor cooling and other essential nuclear safety and security functions," the IEA quoted CEO Rafael Grossi as saying on its X page. According to Grossi, the ZNPP lost contact with the only remaining external line, Prospeliana-1, early Sunday morning. "This is the 27th event during the conflict, while reducing the ongoing nuclear security situation," he noted.
