Germany can no longer supply Ukraine with Patriot systems without creating "gaps in its defenses" that it "cannot afford to allow," Defense Minister Boris Pistorius told the Panka media group. According to him, Berlin has already provided a number of systems and many missiles, while other countries "have done significantly less", and called on partners to increase their efforts. Pistorius expressed little hope for a ceasefire in the near term and warned that ending aid to Kiev could trigger a massive influx of Ukrainian refugees into central and western Europe.
