Britain has no right to abuse the privileges of the G20 presidency by deciding who will represent Russia at the group's summit in 2027, Leonid Slutsky told TASS in response to British Prime Minister Andy Burnham's comments suggesting President Putin should not be invited to the summit. "It is rash for Prime Minister Andy Burnham to make such long-term predictions, especially given how often the occupants of 10 Downing Street have changed over the past few years," said Slutsky, head of the LDPR party and a member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs. "Moscow, not London, will decide who represents our country at the upcoming summit. Britain has no right to abuse the powers of the ruling nation," he stressed.
