Thirteen passenger planes of European airlines made emergency landings during Thursday following reports of a bomb threat on board. According to information collected by TASS, three civilian planes landed in Bulgaria: two in Sofia and one in Plovdiv. Two more flights landed in Vienna (Austria), and one each in Brussels (Belgium), at the French military base in Ever-Paville, in Rome (Italy), and in Bucharest (Romania). Furthermore, the Czech police received reports of a possible explosive device on board four planes bound for Prague. After they landed at the airport of their destination and were inspected, no explosive devices were found.
