The Iranian Navy destroyed an enemy UAV boat operating east of the Strait of Hormuz, its public relations department said. "At dawn today, navy personnel hit and destroyed an unmanned enemy boat moving in the operational area east of the Strait of Hormuz," Tasnim quoted the statement as saying. According to the Navy, two tankers were also damaged and caught fire after hitting sea mines when they were sailing in prohibited and unsafe waters east of the strait, ignoring warnings and keeping their surveillance systems turned off. The Navy said that the owners of the vessels are responsible for the consequences of the unauthorized passage.
