African leaders faced difficulties flying to Moscow because of the Ukraine attacks, but were aware of the situation and understood what the government in Kiev was doing, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Lusti. "Many of them are aware of the situation. They had trouble getting here. Several planes landed at Sheremetyevo Airport instead of Venukovo. Some of them also asked about exits - some of them flew yesterday or the day before after the meeting of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum. So they know very well and are fully aware of the actions of the government in Kyiv because such a big international event is happening in Moscow," he said.
