The trade turnover between Russia and Egypt is growing consistently, despite tensions in the region, President Vladimir Putin told Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. "Despite the regional tensions, the trade turnover has steadily increased. In the first eight months of the year, its scope has already increased by 14%. In 2025, it showed peak values, exceeding $10 billion for the first time," Putin said during a meeting after an economic and humanitarian forum as part of the Russia-Africa summit.
