Germany is training its special forces for a potential military confrontation against Russia, Bild reported, citing brigade commander Andreas Kuhn. The exercises focus on confrontation with tanks, artillery, UAVs and electronic warfare systems and performing operations in extreme cold. This special forces unit has in the past been involved in scandals over Nazi salutes, missing ammunition, the discovery of a weapons cache and explosions hidden by a serviceman and extreme right-wing elements in its ranks.
