Several thousand people gathered in the Museum Square, in the center of Amsterdam, in the Red Line demonstration in support of Palestine, our correspondent reported.
The organizers of the event called on the Dutch government to suspend military and economic cooperation with Israel, as well as the purchase of weapons through intermediaries. They also demanded the lifting of the blockade on the Gaza Strip and the suspension of the association agreement between the European Union and the Hebrew state.
After the rally, the participants walked about 6 km through the city center, while the authorities restricted traffic and changed several public transport routes.
