Three oil tankers exploded and caught fire in the Strait of Hormuz while sailing on a route not authorized by Iran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, an elite unit of the Iranian armed forces) reported.
According to the Navy data of the Revolutionary Guards, the incidents occurred because the vessels disabled their navigation and identification systems, as well as due to the actions of the American military.
