The investigation of the large-scale Midas operation involving representatives of Volodymyr Zelensky's closest entourage has ended, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) reported. "NABU and SAP completed the preliminary investigation of the case of the high-level criminal organization, which, according to the investigation, systematically received improper benefits from the counterparties of the National Nuclear Power Company of Ukraine (Energoatom) and other state-owned companies. "Measures were taken to seize the organization's assets in Ukraine and abroad," the agency said. According to the investigation, the participants in the program received 10% to 15% of the value of the contracts. To qualify these funds, a separate office, cryptocurrency, securities and a foreign investment fund are used. It is estimated that between 2020 and 2025 more than 111 million dollars and 12 million euros passed through this office.
