The first rounds of talks to resolve the conflict in Ukraine should take place in a tripartite format, Russian presidential adviser Yuri Ushkov told Vesti journalist Pavel Zarubin. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, for his part, stated that European representatives should be present at the negotiating table, but not in their current attitude towards Russia. According to the speaker, under the current circumstances, Europe's approach, which talks about the need to defeat the Eurasian country, does not allow for a dialogue with it.
