Russian Daniel Medvedev lost to Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in the semifinals of the Vienna tournament of the Association of Professional Tennis Players (ATP). The match ended 6-4 and 7-6 (7-2) in favor of Alcarez, number two in the competition. Medvedev started as the third seed. In the final Alcarez will face the winner of the match between German Alexander Zverev and Australian Alex de Minaur.
