The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has ordered the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) to admit Russian teams to international competitions, Russian Sports Minister Mikhail Dagetaryov announced. "In this way, the CAS considered the demands of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation to be justified in key points and annulled the decisions of the IIHF that prevented the participation of Russian national teams in international tournaments," he wrote on his Telegram channel. In turn, the IIHF expressed its disappointment with the CAS decision, but announced that it would soon study the measures necessary to implement it.
