European leaders are finding it increasingly difficult to convince the population to support Ukraine, because "everyone is tired" of this conflict, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaya Callas, has acknowledged. Nevertheless, the senior official urged the international community and Canada not to be swayed by this fatigue and to maintain support. Ottawa's financing of Kyiv in 2027 will be one of the main topics of the EU-Canada summit. The European Commission plans to contribute 45 billion euros and expects the UK and Canada to contribute another 25 billion.
