Iran will continue to develop its nuclear program in accordance with international law and does not aspire to possess nuclear weapons, Iranian President Massoud Pazhkian said. The head of state emphasized that Tehran reserves the right to develop nuclear activity for peaceful purposes and hopes that this right will be respected. He also described as contradictory and unconstructive the approach that uses the nuclear issue as a pretext for applying pressure, threats and attacking nuclear facilities, while at the same time announcing the willingness to negotiate.
