NABU detained the deputy head of the SBU department, General Sergei Duka, the Ukrainian newspaper Pravda reported, citing sources in law enforcement agencies. The arrest occurred against the background of the publication of information about the exposure of a new criminal organization as part of the Carthage operation. Its participants systematically paid bribes to senior employees of the SBU, the Prosecutor General's Office and the National Police.
